스스로 작아지자.
우리가 보잘것없고 약한 존재라는 것에 감사드립시다. 우리가 보잘것없고 약한 존재이기에 우리는 하느님을 위한 자리를 마련해 드릴 수 있고 ‘희망할 수 없는데도 희망하면서’ 계속하여 믿을 수 있는 힘을 하느님으로부터 받을 수 있습니다. 그럴 때 우리는 끝까지 구체적인 방법으로 사랑할 수 있습니다.
“Let us give thanks for our littleness and our weakness. Because of them, we can make room for God and receive from him the strength to continue believing, ‘hoping against hope.’ Then we will also be able to love in concrete ways right to the end."
