Communicate the sweetness of God

하느님의 다정하심을 널리 전하자.

하느님께서 사람들과 함께 거처하시고 그들은 하느님의 백성이 될 것이다. (요한 묵시록 21장 3절)
이 생활 말씀은 우리가 해볼 만한 과제를 제시합니다. 곧 우리가 하느님 백성의 일원이 되고자 한다면 하느님께서 우리 가운데 사실 수 있게 해드려야 한다는 것입니다. 이것이 어떻게 가능할까요? 우리가 장차 하느님 나라에 가서 하느님을 직접 뵈었을 때 누리게 될 한없는 기쁨을 지금 이 세상에 살면서도 미리 맛보려면 무엇을 해야 할까요? 이것이 바로 예수님께서 우리에게 알려주신 것입니다. 예수님은 당신께서 하느님 아버지와 이루시는 사랑의 삶을 우리에게 전해주시기 위해 그래서 우리도 그 삶에 참여할 수 있게 해주시려고 이 세상에 오셨습니다. 주님은 오직 이를 위해 이 세상에 오셨습니다.
 
‘He [God] will dwell with them; they will be his peoples.’ (Rev 21:3)
"This Word of Life offers us a challenge: if we want to be part of his people, we have to allow him to live among us. How is this possible? And what can we do to have a foretaste, while still on earth, of the endless joy we will have when we see God face to face? This is exactly what Jesus revealed to us. It is the whole reason he came among us: to communicate to us his life of love with the Father, so that we too can share in it."
