He who gives, receives

주는 이는 받으리라.

이것이야말로 한치도 틀림없는 복음의 논리입니다. 누구든지 자기 목숨을 구하려는 사람은 하느님을 위해 그리고 복음을 위해 자기 목숨을 내어놓아야 합니다. 주는 사람은 누구나 받습니다. 예수님은 “주어라, 그러면 너희도 받을 것이다.”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님을 따르기 위해 모든 것을 내어주는 사람은 백배로 받습니다. 그리고 이는 사실입니다.
 
"This is precisely the logic of the Gospel: whoever wants to save their life must lose it for God and for the Gospel. Whoever gives, receives. Jesus says: ‘Give and it will be given to you.’ Indeed, whoever gives everything in order to follow Jesus, receives a hundred times as much."
