일반 지향 : 경제 발전
모든 사람과 모든 민족의 존엄을 존중하는 진정한 경제 발전이 증진되도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 그리스도인들의 일치
다양한 교파의 그리스도인들이 그리스도께서 바라시는 일치를 향해 나아가도록 기도합시다.

 

2월
일반 지향 : 노인들
교회와 사회가 노인들의 지혜와 경험을 존중하도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 선교 협력
사제와 수도자와 평신도들이 복음 선교를 위하여 서로 아낌없이 협력하도록 기도합시다.

 

3월
일반 지향 : 여성의 권리
여성의 권리와 존엄이 모든 문화 속에서 존중받도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 성소
많은 젊은이들이 복음 선포를 위해 삶을 봉헌하라는 주님의 초대를 받아들이도록 기도합니다.

 

4월
일반 지향 : 생태 환경과 정의
모든 나라의 정부가 피조물을 보호하고 천연 자원을 공정하게 분배하도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 병자들의 희망
부활하신 주님께서 고통과 질병으로 시련을 겪는 이들의 마음을 희망으로 채워 주시도록 기도합시다.

 

5월
일반 지향 : 대중 매체
대중 매체들이 진리와 평화를 위한 도구가 되도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 성모님의 인도
복음화의 별이신 성모 마리아께서 온 세상에 그리스도를 선포하는 교회를 이끌어 주시도록 기도합시다.

 

6월
일반 지향 : 실업자
실업자들이 품위 있게 살아가는 데에 필요한 도움과 일자리를 찾도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 유럽의 신앙
유럽인들이 신자들의 증언을 통하여 그리스도교적 뿌리를 되찾도록 기도합시다.

 

7월
일반 지향 : 스포츠
스포츠가 언제나 인류의 우애와 성장의 기회가 되도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 평신도 선교사
가난한 나라에서 복음을 선포하는 평신도들의 활동을 성령께서 뒷받침해 주시도록 기도합시다.

 

8월
일반 지향 : 난민들
폭력으로 자기 고향을 버리고 떠나올 수밖에 없는 난민들이 따스한 환대를 받으며 그들의 권리를 존중받도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 오세아니아
오세아니아의 그리스도인들이 그 지역 모든 사람들에게 신앙을 기쁘게 선포하도록 기도합시다.

 

9월
일반 지향 : 심신 장애인들
심신 장애인들이 품위 있는 삶을 사는 데에 필요한 사랑과 도움을 받도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 가난한 이들을 섬김
그리스도인들이 하느님 말씀에 따라 가난하고 고통 받는 이들을 섬기도록 기도합시다.

 

10월
일반 지향 : 평화
주님께서 전쟁과 폭력에 시달리는 지역들에 평화를 주시기를 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 전교 주일
전교 주일을 맞아 모든 그리스도인들이 온 세상에 복음을 전하는 열정을 되살리도록 기도합시다.

 

11월
일반 지향 : 외로운 사람들
외로움으로 고통 받는 모든 이가 하느님께서 늘 그들 곁에 계심을 깨닫고 다른 이들의 도움을 받도록 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 신학생과 수도자의 양성자들
젊은 신학생들과 수도자들이 현명하고 지혜로운 양성자들을 만나도록 기도합시다.

 

12월
일반 지향 : 성탄, 인류의 희망
구세주의 탄생이 선의를 지닌 모든 사람들에게 평화와 희망을 가져다주기를 기도합시다.

선교 지향 : 부모
부모들이 진정한 복음 선포자가 되어 자녀들에게 귀중한 신앙의 선물을 전해주도록 기도합시다.

Universal: That all may promote authentic economic development that respects the dignity of all peoples.

For Evangelization: That Christians of diverse denominations may walk toward the unity desired by Christ.

 

February

Universal: That the Church and society may respect the wisdom and experience of older people.

For Evangelization: That priests, religious, and lay people may work together with generosity for evangelization.

 

March

Universal: That all cultures may respect the rights and dignity of women.

For Evangelization: That many young people may accept the Lord’s invitation to consecrate their lives to proclaiming the Gospel.

 

April

Universal: That governments may foster the protection of creation and the just distribution of natural resources.

For Evangelization: That the Risen Lord may fill with hope the hearts of those who are being tested by pain and sickness.

 

May

Universal: That the media may be instruments in the service of truth and peace.

For Evangelization: That Mary, Star of Evangelization, may guide the Church in proclaiming Christ to all nations.

 

June

Universal: That the unemployed may receive support and find the work they need to live in dignity.

For Evangelization: That Europe may rediscover its Christian roots through the witness of believers.

 

July

Universal: That sports may always be occasions of human fraternity and growth.

For Evangelization: That the Holy Spirit may support the work of the laity who proclaim the Gospel in the poorest countries

 

August

Universal: That refugees, forced by violence to abandon their homes, may find a generous welcome and the protection of their rights.

For Evangelization: That Christians in Oceania may joyfully announce the faith to all the people of that region.

 

September

Universal: That the mentally disabled may receive the love and help they need for a dignified life.

For Evangelization: That Christians, inspired by the Word of God, may serve the poor and suffering.

 

October

Universal: That the Lord may grant peace to those parts of the world most battered by war and violence.

For Evangelization: That World Mission Day may rekindle in every believer zeal for carrying the Gospel into all the world.

 

November

Universal: That all who suffer loneliness may experience the closeness of God and the support of others.

For Evangelization: That young seminarians and religious may have wise and well-formed mentors.

 

December

Universal: That the birth of the Redeemer may bring peace and hope to all people of good will.

For Evangelization: That parents may be true evangelizers, passing on to their children the precious gift of faith.
