Welcome differences, search what unites us.
다름을 받아들이고, 우리를 묶어주는 것을 찾자.
그리스도는 나누어질 수 없는 분이십니다. 그러나 그분을 조각내어 그 형체를 훼손하면 누가 그리스도를 알아볼 수 있겠습니까.
다양한 교회들 사이에 그리고 교회 공동체 사이의 관계도 이와 같습니다. 교회 일치를 추구하는 여정에서 우리가 깨달은 것은 우리를 갈라놓는 것보다 우리를 일치시켜주는 것이 더 많다는 것입니다. 비록 교리적인 측면에서 몇 가지와 크리스천 예배의 측면에서는 여전히 다른 점이 있어서 신앙의 일치는 아직도 이루어지지 않았지만, 이미 우리를 일치시켜주는 근간(根幹)은 부활하신 그리스도의 현존이십니다.
"Christ cannot be divided. A fragmented Christ is unrecognizable, disfigured. This is true also for the relationships among the various Churches and ecclesial communities. The ecumenical journey has made us aware that ‘there is more that unites us than divides us’. Even though there are still certain aspects of doctrine and Christian practice in which unity in faith has not yet been achieved, already ‘the fulcrum of what unites us is the presence of the risen Christ."
