인도에서 일어난 성체기적 (인도의 일반 뉴스에 난 것)

 

 

 

Hyderabad: 지난 일요일(2016년 10월 2일)  세쿤데라바뜨에 위치한 성 프란치스코 고등학교 경당에서 성체기적이 보고되자 몇 명의 신자들이 모여들었다. 성광에 안치한 후 제대위에 놓은 성체에서 피가 흐른것이다.

두 수녀를 포함한 여섯명의 신자가 일요일 오후 기도하던 중, “피가 흐르고 있는 것'을 발견하였다고 한다. 10월 2일, 전국 중재기도의 날을 맞아 성 프란치스코 수녀회 소속의 수녀들이 오후 3시부터 성체조배를 구성하였다고 한다.

이들은 성광에 성체를 안치한 후 제대에 놓고 기도를 시작하였다고 한다. 성체는 축성된 빵, 제대용 빵, 혹은 영성체 빵을 말한다. 성광은 그것을 좀더 편리하게 현시하기 위한 사용되는 용기이다. (세속 뉴스라서 이렇게 설명함)

10분쯤 지났을 때, 칼멜 수녀는 갑자기 성체에 붉은 점과 같은 것이 있는 것을 보았는데, “작은 상처같이 보였습니다. 그리고 나서 좀 더 후에는 핏방울이 되어 흐르더니 성체에 모두 퍼졌습니다.” 라고  말한다.

다가가 확인하자, 신선한 피를 볼 수 있었고, 성체가 핏자욱으로 젖기 시작했다고 한다. 이에 카멜 수녀는 예수 그리스도가 성체의 형상으로 오늘날까지도 우리 가운데 현존한다는 분명한 메세지라고 말한다.

 

신자들은 예수님의 메세지라고 말하고 있다.

 

이에 몇명의 신자가 모였고, 한 신자는 이 사건을 통해 성체조배를 하며, 이 사건을 통해 예수님께서 주시려는 메세지를 이해해야한다고 말했다.

그는 예수님의 상처에서 피가 흘렀었다고 말하며  “그분이 지금도 피를 흘리고 있다는 것은 사람들의 죄 때문이며 사람들에게 죄에서 벗어나 그 분에게로 돌아가야한다는 메세지” 라고 덧붙였다.

지금까지 히데라벳 교구의 공식적인 발표는 없었다. 관계자에 의하면 그러한 사건은 발현으로 알려져 있으며 가톨릭 교회는 기적을 공표하기 위해서는 조사후 절차를 따라야한다고 한다. AP에서도 성모상에서 피가 흐른 사건이 있었지만, 성체에서 피가 흐르는 것은 텔구 주에서는 처음 있는 일이다.

The sacramental bread “bled” after it was put up in the Monstrance and kept on the altar. The “oozing of blood” was noticed in the afternoon by a group of six persons, including two nuns, who were praying in the chapel. October 2 being the National Intercession Day, the sisters from St Francis Convent had organised an Eucharistic Adoration in the chapel from 3 pm. The six people started praying after the Host was put up in the Monstrance and kept on the altar. The host refers to sacramental bread, altar bread or Communion bread. A monstrance is the vessel used for more convenient exhibition of an object of piety. After about 10 minutes, Sr Carmel suddenly saw a red stain on the Host. “It seemed to be like a small scar. A couple of moments later, a drop of blood gushed out and spread all over the Host,” she said. Upon checking, she said she found the blood was fresh and the Host had become wet with the blood stains. Sr Carmel said Jesus Chirst was giving a clear message that He was present amidst us even today in the form of the Eucharist. He said Jesus bled when he was wounded. “If he is bleeding now, it is because of the sins of people and also a message to people that they should turn their backs on their sinful nature and come back to Him.” There was no official announcement from the Archdiocese of Hyderabad. According to sources, such incidents are known as apparitions and the  Catholic church follows a proper procedure to declare it as a miracle after inquiring into it. Such incidents of blood oozing from Mother Mary’s statue happened in AP, but this is the first time, blood oozing from an Eucharistic Host in the Telugu states.
