비난하지 말자.

우리가 다른 사람들의 말을 진정으로 잘 들을 수 있으려면 그리고 이웃의 문제와 걱정들에 공감할 수 있으려면 먼저 우리의 사랑이 순화되어야 합니다.
우리가 이웃의 기쁨과 고통을 함께 나누고 우리를 여전히 가르고 있는 장벽들을 무너뜨리려면 그리고 다른 사람들을 판단하고 비난하려는 성향을 극복하고 자아도취에서 벗어나 가난한 사람과 외로운 사람을 섬기는 사람이 되어 예수님이 원하시는 일치를 세상 모든 곳에 건설하려면 먼저 사랑이 순화되어야 합니다.
 
"We need to refine our love so that we are able to truly listen to others and identify with the problems and worries of our neighbours, share in their joys and sufferings, break down the barriers that still divide us, overcome the tendency to judge and criticize, come out of our self-absorption and put ourselves at the service of the needy and the lonely, and build everywhere the unity Jesus desired."
