[스크랩] 최근 예루살렘 골고타에 있는 무덤 성전에서 있었던 십자가의 기적
거룩한 땅, 예루살렘의 무덤성전에서 최근에 기적이 보고되었다. 이 성전은 주님의 십자가가 서 있던 골고타에 있는 성전으로써 제대 위에 주님의 십자가가 있다. 순례객들은 주님의 십자가가 서 있던 바로 그 자리에 있는 제대 아래서 주님께 예배 드릴 수 있고, 제대 위에는 십자가에 달린 주님께서 눈을 감고 있는 아이콘이 있다.
사제 디오도르 다오드 (그리이스 정교 사제)에 의하면 지난 3월 29일 수요일, 그 십자가에 달려있는, 눈을 감고 있던 주님의 아이콘이 그날은 (몇시간 동안이었다고도 함) 눈이 떠져 있는 채로 있었다고 한다. 디오도르 사제에 의하면 순례객들을 포함한 여러명이 그것을 목격했다고 한다.
그는 4월 1일 페이스북을 통해 “지난 수요일, 많은 사제들과 순례객들이 있던 가운데 이 기적이 일어났으며, 나의 친구 알키만드리트 말라테우스 바살이 그 사진을 찍었다. 이 사진이 그 날 십자가에 달려있던 그리스도의 눈이 떠져 있었음을 다시한번 확인시켜 주었다. – 항상 감겨있는 눈이다.-
또한 디오도르 사제는 우리 마음 안에 있는 신앙에 촛점을 맞출 것을 요청하는 이야기를 덧붙였다. “기적은 우리의 약한 믿음을 강하게 하시려는 하느님의 사랑에 의해 허락된 것이다. 그러나 그것은 우리의 신앙이 깊어서 일어나는 것이 아니다. 우리의 신앙은 더욱 깊어져야 한다. 우리는 육화되신 하느님을 뵈었고, 그분의 말씀을 들었으며, 그분을 먹고, 그분의 십자가와 죽음, 부활, 승천을 보았다. 가장 큰 기적은 우리가 너무도 감사할 줄 모르는, 거룩한 전례 안에서 매일 일어나는, 그리스도의 몸과 피로 변한 빵과 포도주임을 항상 기억하자.”
마지막으로 디오도레 사제는 이렇게 끝맺고 있다. “우리는 모든 기적을 우리의 믿음을 강하게 하시려는 하느님으로 부터 오는 싸인으로 보아야한다. 그리고 그것은 우리 죄의 십자가 위에서 돌아가신 그분의 거룩한 사랑을 기억하기 위한 것이다. 우리 모두 참된 성주간과 부활을 위해 회개하고 자신을 준비할 수 있길 바란다. 이 모든 것에 대해 하느님께 흠승을 드리며.”
이 기적은 주님의 무덤 보수가 끝난 다음 주에 일어났고, 매년 성 토요일에 거룩한 무덤성전에서 기념되는 거룩한 불의 기적 2 주 전에 일어났다.
(현재 무덤 성전에는 그리이스 정교의 예루살렘 총본부가 있으며, 성전의 관리는 로만 카톨릭, 그리이스 정교, 아르메니아 정교가 나누어 함께 하고 있다.)

MIRACLE WITH CRUCIFIX OCCURS AT GOLGOTHA IN CHURCH OF HOLY SEPULCHRE

Photo: Fr. Theodore DaoudA miraculous event has reportedly taken place recently within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Golgotha, the place of the Lord’s Crucifixion is also within the church, over which stands an altar. Under the altar, pilgrims can venerate the exact place where the Lord’s Cross was placed in the ground, and above the altar hangs a crucifix, on which hangs the crucified Lord with eyes closed.
According to Fr. Theodore Daoud, a miracle occurred on Wednesday, March 29, in which the Lord’s eyes on the crucifix-icon opened, and remained open throughout the day. There were several witnesses, according to Fr. Theodore.
He writes on his Facebook page, on April 1, “The miraculous event occurred this past Wednesday before the eyes of many priests and visitors, including my friend Archimandrite Malateus Basal whose friend took the pictures, who assured me of what happened in detail, which is that the eyes of the crucified Christ on the icon—which are always closed—remained open throughout the day.”
Fr. Theodore also adds some words that call us to focus on the heart of our faith: “Miracles allowed by God’s Love strengthen our weak faith, but they are not the reason for our faith. Our faith goes deeper than that. We have seen God in the flesh, we have heard Him, we have eaten with Him, and we witnessed His Crucifixion, His Death, His Resurrection and His Ascension to Heaven. The greatest miracle which is far underappreciated occurs in every Divine Liturgy, where bread and wine are transformed to the Body and Blood of Christ. Let us always be mindful of this.”
In closing, Fr. Theodore writes, “We look at this miracle and all miracles as a sign from God to strengthen our faith and to remember the Divine Love of the on e who died on the cross for our sins. May we repent and prepare ourselves for a true Holy Week and Resurrection. Praise God for all things.”
This miracle occurs just a week after work on the edicule over the Lord’s tomb was finished, and two weeks before the great miracle of the Holy Fire, celebrated in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre annually on Holy Saturday.
